Silver Rockpool Pendant Necklace

Rockpool-inspired pendant in recycled fine silver.
Starfish, shell and seabed motifs.
Handmade in the UK.

A starfish, shells and seabed textures share the surface of Sue’s rockpool necklace. Instead of choosing one beach find, the pendant gathers several into a small silver composition. There is plenty to inspect, making it a fitting keepsake for someone who never hurries past a rockpool.

THE HANDS BEHIND THE PIECE

The Magic of Fireflies and Dragonflies
Suffolk, UK

Sue Studd brings a teacher’s curiosity and an artist’s eye to silver clay. Working in Suffolk, she builds jewellery around the small details of the natural world: a dragonfly’s wings, a leaf’s branching veins, the outline of a shell. Her background spans painting, textiles and primary teaching; today, she makes fine silver jewellery and shares the craft through hands-on workshops.
