Diamond Fissure Rift Ring

£2,300

9ct white gold frame and 9ct yellow gold centre.
Flush-set 2.5mm brilliant diamond.
Open seam through the band to the finger.

An uneven seam cuts through two colours of gold, echoing the fissures in slate along the Cornish coast. A diamond sits flush within the white gold frame, bringing a small point of light to the ring’s rugged, open structure.

THE HANDS BEHIND THE PIECE

Wendy Penrose Jewellery
Shiplake, Oxfordshire, UK

Wendy Penrose creates bespoke jewellery in her garden workshop in Shiplake, near Henley-on-Thames. Her flowing, asymmetric designs take their cues from waves, weathered rock and the natural world. Wendy works exclusively with recycled precious metals. Much of her work begins with a customer’s own gold and gemstones, remade into a piece that carries familiar memories in a new form.
