Toadstool Pendant Necklace

Toadstool pendant handmade in recycled silver.
Red cubic zirconia accents.
Flared mushroom cap with small doorway and window details.

A doorway and tiny windows make Sue’s toadstool feel like somewhere a story could begin. Red cubic zirconia adds colour to the silver mushroom, while the flared cap and worked surface give it a sculptural presence. This is woodland jewellery with a playful architectural detail.

THE HANDS BEHIND THE PIECE

The Magic of Fireflies and Dragonflies
Suffolk, UK

Sue Studd brings a teacher’s curiosity and an artist’s eye to silver clay. Working in Suffolk, she builds jewellery around the small details of the natural world: a dragonfly’s wings, a leaf’s branching veins, the outline of a shell. Her background spans painting, textiles and primary teaching; today, she makes fine silver jewellery and shares the craft through hands-on workshops.
