Silver Broomstick Pendant Necklace

Hand-sculpted broomstick pendant.
Made in recycled fine silver.
Includes a 16-inch sterling silver chain.

A broomstick becomes a surprisingly lovely subject for silverwork in Sue’s hands. This miniature pendant brings a touch of folklore to an everyday necklace, with a recognisable shape that feels especially at home among autumn clothes, old stories and a slightly mischievous jewellery collection.

THE HANDS BEHIND THE PIECE

The Magic of Fireflies and Dragonflies
Suffolk, UK

Sue Studd brings a teacher’s curiosity and an artist’s eye to silver clay. Working in Suffolk, she builds jewellery around the small details of the natural world: a dragonfly’s wings, a leaf’s branching veins, the outline of a shell. Her background spans painting, textiles and primary teaching; today, she makes fine silver jewellery and shares the craft through hands-on workshops.
