Silver Dragonfly Necklace

Textured detail across the wings and body.
Part of Sue Studd’s nature-inspired jewellery collection.
999 fine silver, handmade in the UK.

Sue uses texture to give this silver dragonfly necklace its own small world of detail. The wings invite inspection, while the familiar insect outline keeps the design easy to recognise. Choose it for a love of wildlife, a remembered riverside walk or the simple pleasure of worked silver.

THE HANDS BEHIND THE PIECE

The Magic of Fireflies and Dragonflies
Suffolk, UK

Sue Studd brings a teacher’s curiosity and an artist’s eye to silver clay. Working in Suffolk, she builds jewellery around the small details of the natural world: a dragonfly’s wings, a leaf’s branching veins, the outline of a shell. Her background spans painting, textiles and primary teaching; today, she makes fine silver jewellery and shares the craft through hands-on workshops.
