£85

The Magic of Fireflies and Dragonflies
  • Saturday 23 January 2027; half-day workshop
  • Make a pendant, charm or pair of earrings
  • Finished metal is 99.9% fine silver

Silver clay begins soft enough to roll and mark, then fires into fine silver. Sue’s half-day session on 23 January 2027 follows that transformation from first shape to polished piece.

MEET YOUR TUTOR

Meet Sue Studd.

The Magic of Fireflies and Dragonflies
Suffolk, UK

Sue Studd brings a teacher’s curiosity and an artist’s eye to silver clay. Working in Suffolk, she builds jewellery around the small details of the natural world: a dragonfly’s wings, a leaf’s branching veins, the outline of a shell. Her background spans painting, textiles and primary teaching; today, she makes fine silver jewellery and shares the craft through hands-on workshops.
