Silver Phoenix Necklace

Handmade fine silver phoenix pendant.
Lifted wings and flowing feathered tail.
Supplied with a sterling silver chain.

Raised wings and a long, feathered tail give Sue’s phoenix necklace an upward movement. The fine silver pendant makes the mythical bird into a detailed, sculptural subject, offering a personal way to mark a beginning again or simply to enjoy an expressive piece of fantasy jewellery.

THE HANDS BEHIND THE PIECE

The Magic of Fireflies and Dragonflies
Suffolk, UK

Sue Studd brings a teacher’s curiosity and an artist’s eye to silver clay. Working in Suffolk, she builds jewellery around the small details of the natural world: a dragonfly’s wings, a leaf’s branching veins, the outline of a shell. Her background spans painting, textiles and primary teaching; today, she makes fine silver jewellery and shares the craft through hands-on workshops.
