A rectangular frame gives Sue’s curling vines and leaves a clear boundary. Inside it, raised floral scrollwork fills the fine silver surface with smaller curves and botanical detail. The result has the appeal of a fragment of decorative metalwork made into a necklace.

Working in Suffolk, she builds jewellery around the small details of the natural world: a dragonfly’s wings, a leaf’s branching veins, the outline of a shell. Her background spans painting, textiles and primary teaching; today, she makes fine silver jewellery and shares the craft through hands-on workshops.
