Handmade Silver, Rose Quartz & Water Lily Necklace

Water-lily pendant in recycled fine silver.
Cluster of rose quartz cabochons.
Handmade in the UK.

Soft pink rose quartz sits among the petals of Sue’s fine silver water lily. The cluster of cabochons gives the flower a gently coloured centre, with the silver form extending around it. This is a floral necklace for someone who enjoys stones worked into the subject of the design.

THE HANDS BEHIND THE PIECE

The Magic of Fireflies and Dragonflies
Suffolk, UK

Sue Studd brings a teacher’s curiosity and an artist’s eye to silver clay. Working in Suffolk, she builds jewellery around the small details of the natural world: a dragonfly’s wings, a leaf’s branching veins, the outline of a shell. Her background spans painting, textiles and primary teaching; today, she makes fine silver jewellery and shares the craft through hands-on workshops.
