Its frosted white finish brings a softer quality to the silver, allowing the twig’s irregular surface to remain the main attraction.

She founded Curious Magpie Jewellery in 2015 and works from a garden studio in rural Leicestershire. For many of her woodland pieces, lost-wax casting carries the surface of a real natural find into metal, preserving the irregularities that first caught her eye.
