A narrow silver band can still hold plenty of texture. This tree bark ring brings an irregular woodland surface to a restrained two-millimetre profile, giving it a subtle presence on the finger. The simple shape makes the contrast between the worked outside and polished inside the heart of the design.

For many of her woodland pieces, lost-wax casting carries the surface of a real natural find into metal, preserving the irregularities that first caught her eye.
