The surface of a real twig becomes something to wear in this slim silver bangle. Its small ridges and irregular outline bring a woodland character to a simple circular form. Worn alone, the texture does the talking; beside other bangles, it adds a different rhythm to the wrist.

She founded Curious Magpie Jewellery in 2015 and works from a garden studio in rural Leicestershire. For many of her woodland pieces, lost-wax casting carries the surface of a real natural find into metal, preserving the irregularities that first caught her eye.
